Summary The Peoples Peace Committee has announced to suspend its activities in Sindh and Balochistan provinces, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a press conference at Liyari, leaders of People’s peace committee, Aziz Baloch and Habib Khan said that the decision was taken to protect and strengthen democracy in the country.“We suspend the functioning of the committee if we pose any threat to democracy”, the PPC leaders announced.They said that no. activist of the committee was involved in Terrorism, kidnapping, dacoity or other crimes like money extortion and the allegations levelled against them were baseless.The PPC leaders demanded that the persons involved in target killing and other crimes must be exposed.
