ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) founder Nawaz Sharif has criticized his opponent Imran Khan by asking if ‘new Pakistan’ is going to be realized through hypocrisy and lies.

Talking to party workers, Nawaz Sharif said that they need not fret in case of his arrest and stand firmly in face of adversity. He asked them to stay with him for he is going to leave no stone unturned to change Pakistan for the better.

He said that his slogan of ‘Respect vote’ has resonated with everyone. He promised to spend Ramzan with workers and visit every district as part of election campaign. He said that he has to go to hearings in return for serving the country.

Former Prime Minister said that PML (N) is going to defeat the turncoats in the upcoming elections. He said he made Pakistan a nuclear power and if he was greedy, he would have accepted Clinton’s offer, but he did not compromise on national interest. He said Musharraf accepted everything on one call from America.

Talking more about former President, Musharraf, he said that the former dictator is absconding from Pakistani courts after plunging the country into darkness.

He also took PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari to task by saying that he is equally responsible for country’s problems. He said he went to Karachi himself to inquire the situation there created by PPP.

He also referred to Parvez Khattak’s reference to ‘order from above’. He regretted Khattak’s statement and then his spin on it saying that by above he meant Bani Gala.

He commented on the Senate elections and feared that what happened in Senate elections is being engineered to for the National Assembly. He said that no one knew Chairman Senate before. He asked if anyone took notice when PML (N) government was quietly removed.
