Summary Persisting with their strike, doctors are checking patients on roads in Punjab on Wednesday.
The protesting doctors established medical camps on roads for treating emergency patients, however, outdoor units remained close. According the representatives of the Young Doctors Association and the Pakistan Medical Association, a demonstration will be staged on Thursday and indoor units and operation theaters will also be closed as a protest. The doctors said that they would continue their protest, until the acceptance of their demands. The strike has forced patients to visit private hospitals.
