Summary Meeting between MQM and PPP held in Karachi; some important decisions taken.
The meeting of MQM delegation with President Zardari came to an end. Soon after the meeting, Rehman Malik said that MQM does not have issues with the government. Seven member delegation of MQM had a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari in Bilalwal House Karachi. This meeting was also attended by Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ibaad Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Interior Minister Rehman Malik.The MQM delegation was led by Dr. Farooq Sattar. According to Presidential spokesperson Farhat Ullah Babar, some important decisions were made during this meeting; where as MQM leader Altaf Hussain was also telephoned for consultation. The sources claim that issues between PPP and MQM have been settled now and reconciliation policy will continue. Soon after this meeting, Rehman Malik spoke to media in which he stated that progress has been made during this meeting; however the decisions will be announced in Governor House Karachi.
