Summary Law minister says Nawaz will return to Pakistan in two to three days

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Law minister has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif thinks that verdict will come against him and will be imprisoned.

Talking exclusively to Dunya News on Thursday, He said that people would take to the streets if told by the party to do so after Nawaz imprisonment. He, however, added: “I don’t think that Nawaz will give a protest call if imprisoned. He will ask people to vote.”

He went on to say that Nawaz imprisonment would not make any difference to Pakistan’s politics.

He said Kulsoom Nawaz’s health was not good and Nawaz Sharif would return to the country in two to three days.

Replying to a question, the law minister said that hidden forces were pulling the strings. “Nobody talks about them but everyone believes that they should step back now.” If they don’t, the situation may deteriorate,” he warned.

To another question, Rana Sanaullah confirmed that Nawaz and former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan were not on same page. He said that Chaudhry Nisar had persuaded the party for Nawaz’s homecoming journey via Grand Trunk Road. “He (Nisiar) told Shehbaz via telephone that the decision had been made that Nawaz would embark on homecoming journey through GT Road.”
