Foreign Office confirmed and expressed their grief on the death of one Pakistani in violent protest in the capital city Manama, on Tuesday. They said that the security and welfare of Pakistanis’ abroad is their primary concern and in this context, the Foreign Office has issued guidelines to the Pakistani Embassy in Bahrain. Foreign Office said that they have requested the government of Bahrain to provide extra protection to the Pakistanis in their country. On the other hand, they said that 4,901 Pakistanis have been brought back from Libya following the Libyan crisis.The Foreign Office confirmed that 103 Pakistanis returned to the country from Cairo and six from Algeria, on Monday. They added that 400 more Pakistanis will be returning to the county via a special flight from Tripoli on March 17.
