KARACHI (Dunya News) – The first session of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe Naqeebullah Mehsud killing held in Karachi on Friday, Dunya News reported.
Former SSP Malir Rao Anwar, the main accused in Naqeebullah killing in a fake police encounter, appeared before the JIT and recorded his initial statement.
According to sources, Rao Anwar disclosed names of five members of his team for killing Naqeebullah. Rao Anwar blamed that some officers of Sindh police are conspiring against him.
The JIT members also question employees of a tea stall in Sohrab Goth. The employees informed JIT that former SSP Malir Rao Anwar was not was not present with the police party at the time of the incident.
