(Dunya News) – A resident of Hyderabad who has been suffering from severe leg injuries is waiting for a messiah. Deepak Raj, who was injured in a police encounter four years ago, is suffering from major leg injuries that have left him handicapped and immobile.
While one of his legs was amputated after severe injuries, he is now trying to save his other leg which is supported through a metal frame.
Though the sight is painful, Raj has not stopped hoping for a miracle.

According to Raj, the police falsely accused him of crimes and shot him several times during an encounter.
So far Raj has spent all his savings in treatment for his leg.
Speaking to Dunya News, Raj’s wife Suneeta said that her husband has been suffering for the past three years now. “The government should intervene and assist us with the best possible medical care,” said Suneeta who has been tending to her husband’s needs ever since the incident left him injured.
The young man’s son hopes that his father would recover quickly so that he could one day play with him.
Raj says he wants to spend the rest of his life without being dependent on anyone, but for that to happen he hopes to receive some assistance.
