Summary A petition in the Lahore High Court on Saturday challenged the appointment of Rana Zahid.
The petitioner’s lawyer, Azhar Siddique, said that the Supreme Court had ordered that all contract officers should be removed from their offices. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab Director General (DG) Rana Zahid had also been hired on contract but he was still holding the office. His presence at the DG office is a contempt of court, he added and requested the court to invalidate his appointment.
