On this occasion, Girls Scouts will take part in welfare activities. On March 12, 1912, the first Girl Scout troop was founded by Juliette Gordon Low in Savannah, Georgia. This foundation has turned into an international organisation in which 2.3 million girls from 145 countries are registered. At least 8.8 million volunteers are also working under the banner of this organisation. A Girls Guide Association is also working in Pakistan with 19,000 members. The association is working for the uplift of girls in Pakistan.
