ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal Friday directed to remove the officers having dual nationality from sensitive posts in the ministry.
This was announced by spokesperson for the Interior Ministry in a statement today (Friday).
On the other hand, the federal government has initiated a survey regarding dual-nationality holder employees. In this regard, affidavits have been distributed among employees of all the ministries and divisions.
Sources revealed that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) will trace dual national workers. NADRA will share data regarding NICOP holders with the FIA authorities.
