Summary Imran Khan has ruled out any alliance with PML-N and PPP in the forthcoming Senate Chairman election
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has ruled out any alliance with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the forthcoming Senate Chairman election, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the social media convention of PTI in Islamabad on Saturday, Imran said that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari have inflicted great damage to Pakistan therefore we are against any alliance with them.
"We are not making any alliance with PMLN and PPP, we are just trying to bring Baluchistan forward in the political landscape," Imran Khan said.
Imran said that PTI is the only party that has disrupted the two-party system in the country. “It is very difficult for a third party to make way in a two-party system. But PTI did spoil PML-N and PPP’s fixed match,” he said.
Imran said that one has got to be innovative in order to come forth in politics and added that the PTI has been the trendsetter in adopting innovation.
Imran said that PML-N lacks ideas and they follow whatever we do. Taking a jibe at the PML-N, the PTI chief said that even Nawaz Sharif wants to make a "Naya Pakistan" now.
He further said that the kind of ‘Junoon’ our public meetings exhibit, can’t be bought for money. We created awareness among people through our public meetings. One simply can’t buy passion over a ‘Qeema naan’ for public meetings.
Lauding the efforts of PTI social media team, Imran said that our social media team comprises of passionate people. Today I want to pay utmost homage to our social media team, he added.
