LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday has lashed out at Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif for publishing his pictures on laptop scheme and health cards.
During a hearing at Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry, CJP asked Chief Secretary that why Shehbaz Sharif is printing his pictures on the projects initiated by nation’s money.
Chief Secretary said that these projects were launched due to struggles of Shehbaz Sharif over which, the CJP directed him to submit report including Punjab CM’s statement in the case and the total expense incurred on the laptop scheme.
Justice Nisar expressed anger over political parties utilising public money for their publicity campaigns. He also warned the government officials to improve their ways of serving the nation.
The hearing of the case has been adjourned.
