ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) parliamentary leader in the Senate Col (retd.) Tahir Hussain Mashhadi on Friday announced to quit his party.
In a message to the people of Karachi before leaving the party, Tahir Mashhadi said that the recent infighting and behavior of both factions of MQM-P caused tremendous damage to the party representing the middle class community of Karachi.
Tahir Mashhadi termed the selfish and childish activities of MQM-P leaders as an insult to the mandate of Muhajir community and added that there is no hope that the current leadership will serve the cause of middle class of the city in the parliament.
