ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday has announced to indict Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry in contempt of court case on March 14.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal rejected written reply of Talal Chaudhry and directed him to appear on March 14.
Earlier, Talal Chaudhry said that Robert Redley’s statement in NAB reference against Sharif exposed the NAB department. He maintained that such incidents have also happened in the past which caused loss to the country.
“We visit courts all day seeking justice and are sure of receiving it. Punjab bureaucracy has done a lot. Those accomplishing power projects should be rewarded and not given punishment,” he said.
Criticizing Imran Khan, he said that a spiritual guide is present at his house therefore; he should ask her about the whereabouts of Faisal Subhan.
It is to be mentioned here that suo moto notice was taken after Talal denigrated Panama Case verdict on myriad occasions.
While equating judges with idols in Jaranwala rally, Talal urged PML-N president Nawaz Sharif to oust them from courts. He said there was no hope of justice till these judges were sitting in the courts.
