(Web Desk) – The festival of Holi, also known as the festival of colours, was celebrated by the Hindu community across the country on Thursday.
The spring festival celebrated by Hindus around the world marks the arrival of the spring season. With powder colours being smeared on each other’s faces, the festival is marked with a celebration of singing and dancing.
The festival was also celebrated at the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Karachi and the Krishna Mandir in Lahore. The festival of colour was also celebrated in the Sindh Assembly for the first time, in a bid to send out a message of interfaith harmony and peace.
