LAHORE (Dunya News) – Polling for annual elections of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) through biometric system is underway today (Saturday).
At least 14 candidates are contesting for as many as four seats.
According to details, 86 biometric machines are being placed in five polling stations for 14,147 male and 1,300 female lawyers.
The authorities have received names of three candidates for presidentship, four for vice president, two for secretary and five people have submitted their papers for finance secretary post.
The electoral procedure is being provided foolproof security as cameras have been installed for monitoring.
The polling will be continued till 5pm.
