Summary A US citizen, Aaron Mark DeHaven, has been released on Tuesday in Peshawar.
DeHaven,was working for a private security company and living in Pakistan on an expired visa. We have released DeHaven after receiving the court orders, Peshawar Jail Deputy Superintendent Iftikhar Ahmed said.DeHaven’s bail application was accepted by Additional District and Sessions Judge Altafur Rehman on Monday. The judge had ordered DeHaven not to leave the area without informing police until his case was concluded. DeHaven was arrested last month from a residential area in Peshawar.DeHaven’s Pakistani visa had expired in October, and he was working for security contractor Catalyst Services, providing security and accommodation to foreigners working on development projects in the region.
