(Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has on Saturday revealed the reason behind upset defeat in Lodhran NA-154 by-poll.
Khan stated that former lawmaker Jehangir Tareen has confessed to not giving appropriate time to his constituency. He accused that ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) spent a mammoth Rs1.5 billion in the constituency ahead of by-poll.
Khan uttered these remarks in Dunya News program Tonight with Moeed Pirzada.
Khan reiterated that the apex court had announced a ‘weak verdict’ in Panama Papers case. He said, “Nawaz Sharif is growing aggressive as court isn’t taking action against him under contempt law”.
