MANSEHRA (Dunya News) – Daughter of ousted premier and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz has said on Friday that the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) would get a response from the political front as well if he uses the kind of language used by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan against Nawaz Sharif.

Maryam addressed a convention of social media workers in Mansehra and said that use of language for former premier like the one used by Imran Khan would attract a reaction from the political front.

She asserted that people are going to decide in favour of Nawaz Sharif despite Panama Papers probe verdict which allegedly was finalised before the trial began. The people have taken the issue in their hands now and they would reach a decision, she added.

Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for not obtaining salary from his son as a designated official of his company, she said adding that had the former premier a corrupt leader, there would not have been people coming out in his favour in one rally after the other.

Even the people of Lodhran have sentenced enemies of Nawaz Sharif to a punishment, PML-N leader said.

Maryam claimed that those who petitioned against Nawaz Sharif in the apex court address rallies with empty seats today.

She said that Imran Khan presented his political party to the people as the one that hatches conspiracies. She branded PTI chief a stooge who looted people’s votes.

Maryam claimed that promises and claims made by Khan to the people about progress and development are false. She further said that Khan was responsible for all the local body representatives of PTI who lost the elections.

While criticising the judiciary, the PML-N leader rhetorically asked which clause of the Constitution of Pakistan was being translated by the judges when they allegedly brand elected representatives of the people thieves and members of Sicilian mafia.
