Summary The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday adjourned the bail petitions of Hamesh Khan and Shaikh Afzal, involved in Bank of Punjab scandal.

A two-member bench of the LHC, comprising Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry and Justice Ijazul Hassan, heard the petitions. The counsel for Hamesh Khan informed the court that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had failed to prove a single charge against his client, therefore, he should be released on bail.Aitzaz Ahsan, counsel for Shaikh Afzal, requested the court to fix a new date for the hearing as he required more time to prepare the case. The court adjourned the hearing till April 06.
