Summary Dozens of houses were destroyed in an avalanche in Jaffarabad on the outskirts of Hunza Nagar on Sunday.
The entire area was rocked while Jaffarabad and Nalat areas were largely devastated by the avalanche. Mayoon, a village on the outskirt of Hunza opposite to Rakaposhi, was partially damaged in the avalanche.The Hunza and Giglit section of the Karakoram Highway has been closed for all kind of traffic.
