Summary Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza headed a 4-member bench.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has adjourned hearing of foreign funding case till February 12 due to absence of PML-N and PPP lawyers.

A 4-member bench of ECP headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza has directed the lawyers of PML-N and PPP to present their respective cases before the commission in the next hearing. PTI had objected to PML-N’s response filed in the last hearing as being unattested.

Today, the representative of PML-N Jehangir Jadon was absent due to personal engagement, while Latif Khosa, representing PPP in the case, could not appear due to hearings in Supreme Court. On that occasion, Latif Khosa’s associate observed that the application filed by PTI is fraught with mistakes.
