Summary A police official in Karachi opened fire on his colleagues and killed 1 person while 6 police officials were injured in the incident. The accused has been arrested, Dunya News reported.
A police official opened fire on his colleagues near Saeedabad Training Centre in which 1 police official Younis was killed while 6 others were injured.The injured included Muhammad Khan, Asif Khan, Ali Bukhsh, Ghulam Shabir and Tariq Hussain who were shifted to hospital for medical treatment. Accused Tariq has been arrested by the police.According to police sources, accused Tariq is deputed in Sindh Reserve Police.They said that accused Tariq, due to his disturbed mental condition, was not permitted to carry weapons while on duty.According to police, the accused Tariq quarrelled with his colleagues on some issue upon which he snatched a gun from another official and opened fire on his colleagues. Resultantly, 1 police official died and 6 injured.
