KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers deployed in Sindh to curb crime rate have seized a cache of weapons on Friday that purportedly belongs to armed operatives of Muttahida Qaumi Movement London (MQM-L).
In an operation carried out in Shareefabad area, Pakistan Rangers seized weaponry and ammunition allegedly hidden by MQM-L operatives in a hole dug at the rear of a residential compound.
Spokesperson for the paramilitary force said that five SMGs, five 30-bore pistols, two 32-bore pistols, one 9mm pistol, four camouflage jackets and 1,950 rounds of bullets.
According to the Rangers, the weapons were to be used by alleged militants belonging to MQM-L.
