Summary The court, during the hearing of Salman Taseers murder case, recorded the statements of two more eyewitnesses, on March 5, 2011.
The hearing of the case was held in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. The court recorded the statements of Khurram Shehzad and Gul Feroz who had appeared in court as eyewitnesses. Due to activities at the Lahore High Court on March 19, the lawyers requested the hearing to be set at a later date as the court had scheduled the hearing on March 19. The court then rescheduled the hearing on March 26, 2011.On the other hand, Police questioned Mumtaz Qadri, the alleged assassin of former Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer, in the murder of minority affairs minister Shahbaz Bhatti.
