ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition leader Khurshid Shah said on Thursday that those abusing the parliament should leave politics.

Speaking in the National Assembly, he criticized Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif saying that they insult the parliament while the politics of the country has diverted to the wrong path.

“This parliament made us atomic power and gave us the strength to demand our right. I cannot use that word which was spoken to hide failure. Many significant personalities addressed the parliament while some keep on abusing it,” he said.

“A number of cases were filed against PPP. Our prime minister was evicted in a second but we never insulted the institutions,” Shah maintained.

“I condemn the words used by Imran Khan against the parliament. Those considering it awful have no right to do politics in Pakistan. The fault is not of the parliament but the government,” said the opposition leader.
