Summary ON a court order, police recovered 78 Harris (landless peasants) including women and children from the detention of a landlord, Dunya News reported.
Tando Ghulam Hyder police, on a court order, raided a private jail of local landlord Jamoon Chang and recovered 78 peasants including 34 children, 14 women and 24 males.The police presented the released peasants before the court which allowed them to live their free life.After getting released, the Harris protested against landlord Jamoon Chang. They told that they were in landlords’ detention for many years who engaged them in forced labour.
