Summary Miranshah General Officer Commanding briefed the Army Chief.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited North Waziristan on Wednesday and laid wreath at Shuhada Monument in Miranshah.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asif Ghafoor Bajwa reported that Miranshah General Officer Commanding briefed the Army Chief about security situation in the tribal areas.

The Army Chief was briefed about rehabilitation of Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDP) and progress on socio-economic development projects in the area.

COAS Bajwa also reviewed the fencing along the Pakistan-Aghanistan border and appreciated speedy measures for border security. He also visited freshly constructed border forts.
