Summary A Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a private firm was kidnapped from Karachi two months ago. He was finally released after paying ransom money of 10 million rupees; however police claims that no ransom money was paid.
Some unidentified people kidnapped Hassan Sigabtigeen, a CEO of a private firm, from National Highway on 23rd December 2010. These kidnappers then demanded ransom money of 30 million rupees. According to Hassan’s family sources, he was released from Mirpur Mathelo after paying ransom money of 10 million rupees. However the police claim that Hassan was released without paying any ransom money.
