Summary The local police have registered a case of Shah Alam Market fire incident against the unidentified persons.

As per details, the owner of the building has given an application to the local police seeking the registration of a case declaring the incident as a terror activity. The police have registered a case against unidentified persons. Earlier, DCO Lahore Ahad Khan Cheema has formed 2 committees to probe the matter of fire incident.It is pertinent to mention that the traders had declared the incident as a terror activity but the police and other agencies had refused and said that the building caught fire due to short-circuit. Due to the incident, seven persons had burnt to death and goods and valuables worth over millions of rupees were reduced to ashes.
