Children of Shahbaz Ahmed, a resident of Kot Meran, have been suffering from polio and the disease has claimed one of his daughters. The family said that no team of the Health Department ever visited their village and they have no resources for the treatment of their children. The parents pleaded to the government to provide treatment to their children.The reported cases of polio in Hafizabad have negated the Health Department’s claim in which Hafizabad was declared a polio free zone.
