Summary Addressing to Jamrud sports event, PM promised to establish universities in every FATA agency
JAMRUD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday admitted that their government hasn’t been able to give rights to the people of FATA, promising that they will establish university in every agency.
Addressing to the ceremony for sports event in Jamrud, the premier recalled the martyrs and acknowledged how FATA faced terrorism in past. He praised the efforts of FATA people for the wellbeing of Pakistan.
Later on, he addressed an impressive function of students at ICP in connection with 142th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he said the Quaid had special fondness for ICP because of the dynamic role played by its students during Pakistan Movement.
He said it is inevitable to ensure provision of quality education at educational institutions along with the higher education.
PM told that the government has made a commitment to establish a university at every district level that would be a great step forward in the education sector.
He said achieving real progress was impossible without excelling in the education sector.
“This is the principle our Quaid Jinnah had taught us,” he added.
