Summary PML-Q leader and son of former Punjab CM Moonis Elahi, accused of NICL corruption case, reached FIA office in Lahore to record his statement but the officials refused to record his statement.
According to FIA official, the team has directed him to appear before the investigation team after getting interim bail but he came without bail. The official said, therefore, the FIA has refused to record his statement. Moonis is alleged of corruption of millions of rupees in NICL scandal and he was summoned by the FIA in this regard. Moonis was returned to Pakistan from Sri Lanka after getting protective bail from Sindh High Court (SHC).On the other hand, Moonis said that many hidden hands were defaming him and he would disclose all those involved in NICL corruption.
