Summary Karachi Water & Sewerage board (KWSB) has refused to supply extra water to main departments including Cantonment due to the shortage of water in the city, Dunya News reported.
Due to increasing demand of water and delay in the maintenance of extra water supply project, KWSB has refused to supply the extra quantity of water to main department of the city including Civil Aviation Authority, DHA City, Site Ltd., Oil Refinery, Textile City, KPT, PQA, Pakistan Steel, Malir Development Authority, DHA and all Cantonments of the city.According to MD Water Board Misbahuddin, “K-4” project was started to meet the demand of water but it could not be approved and the Water board cannot supply extra water to these departments until a new water project is not developed.
