Summary The Lahore High Court has adjourned the hearing of a petition till next week seeking the services of a government lawyer to defend Hafiz Saeed in the US.
Counsel of Hafiz Saeed, A.K. Dogar told the court that officials of intelligence agencies were provided lawyers to defend them in the US courts but chief of Jamatud Dawa Hafiz Saeed was not provided any lawyer for the same purpose as he was also a Pakistani citizen.A.K. Dogar requested the court to issue the orders to provide defence lawyer to Hafiz Saeed. The court adjourned the case till next week.
