Summary Lawyers in Balochistan observed total boycott of courts against the kidnapping of two judges. The lawyers staged rallies and sit-in in different districts of the province.
Session judge Sibbi Jan Muhammad Gohar and civil judge Muhammad Ali Bazai were kidnapped two days ago from Dera Murad Jamali. A rally was taken out in Quetta under the supervision of Balochistan Bar association president Baz Muhammad Kakar. The lawyers staged sit-in at Mannan chowk and shouted slogans against the government. Kakar said that lawyers will hold token strike from Tuesday. The lawyers also boycotted the courts in Dera Murad Jamali. The lawyers said that the government had failed to provide security to citizens and they will continue their protests till the recovery of the kidnapped judges.
