Summary President Asif Ali Zardari said on Sunday that the government would continue the policy of conciliation and tolerance to strengthen the democracy in the country.
Addressing to the PPP Sindh core committee, Asif Ali Zardari said that all decisions would be taken with the consultation of all political parties. He said that PPP would pursue the politics of reconciliation and would never let the democracy derail. The president vowed to pursue the fair and clean politics to strengthen the democracy and follow the Charter of Democracy. He said that PPP was ready to sit on opposition benches in Punjab to strengthen the democracy. The president will chair a meeting of Sindh Cabinet on Monday. He will also hold a joint meeting with MQM leaders to discuss the current political situation of the country.
