WASHINGTON (Dunya News) – Pakistan ambassador to the United States Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry has said that Pak-US relations are very important for peace in the South Asia, Dunya News reported.
Aizaz Chaudhry stated this during a meeting with the US Senator and chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), Cory Gardner in Washington on Tuesday.
Aizaz Chaudhry and Senator Cory Gardner also discussed current regional situation and relations between Pakistan and the United States during the meeting.
Pakistan ambassador said that Pak-US partnership is very important for achieving joint strategic and regional goals. He further said that Pakistan has rendered tremendous sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Cory Gardner also emphasized the importance of Pak-US relations for peace and stability in the region.
