Summary An old and hungry cheetah while searching for food entered in a village in Skardu. The people caught the cheetah and handed it over to Wild Life Pakistan.
People in Manthal an adjacent village to Skardu said that the hungry and sick snow cheetah had been roaming around the outskirts of the village hunting for goats for the past few days. The cheetah entered the village this morning and bit a resident on the hand. The villagers gathered, surrounded the cheetah and captured him. They later handed it over to the officials at Wild Life Pakistan.The cheetah was tranquilized and then shifted to the city park in Skardu where he died just after 8 hours. According to the veterinary doctor the cheetah died because of an illness.
