According to the American embassy in Islamabad, the consular’s meeting with De Haven was a routine matter.The American embassy appreciating the cooperation of Pakistani authorities stated that the court proceeding would be respected.It is worth mentioning that an American citizen Aaron De Haven was arrested last day by the Peshawar Police after which the American embassy contacted Pakistani government and sought the permission of consular’s access to the arrested Us citizen.
