Court indicts BS-16 officer who owns assets worth Rs200 mn

Summary Officer is accused of accumulating assets worth Rs 200 million by unlawful means.

QUETTA (Dunya News) –  Accountability court (AC) on Wednesday has indicted a BS-16 government officer with a net worth of Rs200 million in an assets beyond means case.

The officer named Talat Ishaq is a superintendent of commissioner’s office.

The officer is accused of accumulating assets worth Rs200 million by unlawful means. During the investigation, police learnt that the accused has assets including jewelry and foreign currency worth millions of Rupees.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had earlier frozen Talat Ishaq’s bank account with deposits worth Rs30.50 million.
