Summary 'PSP and MQMP agreed for unification rather than political alliance'
KARACHI (Dunya News) – PSP’s president Anees Qaimkhani has said on Tuesday that Either Mustafa Kamal or Farooq Sattar is lying in their statements made after the rapprochement collapse.
Anees Qaimkhani further said that PSP and MQMP had agreed for unification rather than some sort of political alliance adding that PSP and MQMP agreed for one symbol, one ideology and one vision.
On the other hand, he asserted that he was unaware that MQMP is to hold a procession on December 8 in Hyderabad though the administration has not granted them the permission yet.
He clarified that PSP is ever ready to welcome MQMP again and will decide what to do if they contact again.
Earlier, PSP and MQMP’s senior leaderships had reached on a mutual agreement to unify the two parties.
However, later on, Farooq Sattar had separated and told that MQMP’s members were under pressure from the establishment while PSP’s Mustafa Kamal asserted that it was Farooq Sattar himself who had requested the establishment to arrange MQMP’s leadership’s meeting with PSP’s leadership .
