Summary The staff of lower courts in Sindh has gone on strike against the abduction of two workers of Malir court.

The Sindh High Court chief justice has called a meeting of all provincial session judges to appraise the situation. The court works said that they would not go back to their seats until the recovery of their colleagues. The Sindh High Court chief justice asked the Malir Bar Association, court staff representatives and police to hold joint meeting to resolve the matter.Malir court’s bailiff Shaqat Barohi and clerk Agha Yasir were abducted on February 22. The matter was brought into the notice of District and Session Judge Kosar Bukhari and a case was also registered in the police station.
