Summary Rainfall has been predicted by the Meteorological department of Pakistan in most parts of the country whereas a new spell of rain and snowfall is predicted in Chitral, Ziarat, Loire top and other regions.
Due to constant rain in Azad Kashmir, Nelum road and Jhelum road have been closed down due to land sliding. Jehlum Muzaffarabad via Chakar, Bagh Forward Kahuta, Leepa valley road and various other roads have been blocked.In the past 24 hours, there was light rain in some areas of Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north east Baluchistan also there was light snowfall on the mountain of the area. There were splashes of rain in the upper areas of Sindh.The highest level of rain was recorded at 27 millimeters in Ghari dupatta. 19 millimeters was recorded in Chakwal and 18 millimeters of rain in Sahiwal and Kakol. Toba Tek Singh had 17 millimeters, Faisalabad had 16 millimeters and Murree had 12 millimeters of rain. Saidusharif, Kalat and Okara had 11 millimeters of rain.Balakot had 9 millimeters, Muzaffarabd and Joharabad had 8 millimeters, Dir and Quetta had 7 millimeters, Kalam and Bannu had 4 millimeters, Meerkahni, Mandi Bahauddin and Rawal Kot had 5 millimeter of rain recorded.On the other hand, 3 inches of snowfall was recorded in Kalam and a record low temperature of -4 degrees was recorded in Astore.
