Summary The Lahore High Court on Friday has dismissed the application sought courts action against Fauzia Wahab for committing contempt of court.
Rana Ilmuddin Ghazi, the petitioner and the lawyer, told the court that Fauzia had committed contempt of court. He said that she publically said that US citizen Raymond Davis, a dual killing convict, deserves diplomatic immunity.The matter was sub judice and she should not have commented on it, the lawyer added. The court adjourned the petition saying that contempt of court cannot be applied on the statements of politicians.
