Summary She complained that Nawaz Sharif is not being given his basic right to justice

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Daughter of disqualified premier Maryam Nawaz has reacted to the top court reserving its verdict in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s disqualification case today on Tuesday.

Maryam stated on Twitter that all parameters of justice are to be met only when it comes to holding Nawaz Sharif accountable and not when other lawmakers are to be questioned.

She complained that Nawaz Sharif is not being given his basic right to justice whereas his political opponents are permitted to file evidence even after the verdict is reserved. All the hassle to reach a verdict was only in the case of Nawaz Sharif, she complained to the apex court.

Statement of the ousted premier’s daughter has come in hours after Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) resvered the verdict in disqualification cases against Imran Khan and secretary general of PTI Jahangir Tareen.

It should be noted here that PTI pursued a disqualification reference against Nawaz Sharif among three political parties that paved way for his ousting through the top court for the second time in his decades long political career.
