Summary A project of rapid bus service is expected to begin in June this year in Lahore.Special persons and senior citizens will be provided free traveling facility on these buses, Duny News reported.
It has been decided in a meeting of Lahore Transport Company’s board of directors that the rapid bus service will be started on Ferozpur Road as well as on Multan Road at initial stage.Motorcycle rickshaw and slow moving vehicles would be barred to run on these roads, while, another van would not be allowed to run in the specific lane during school and office timings.It was also decided in the meeting that special persons and senior citizens of more than 65-year age would be facilitated with free traveling on these buses.
