Summary 65 thousand students took the medical entry test across Punjab.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – 65 thousand students across Punjab appeared in the rescheduled Medical and Dental College Admission Test 2017 on Sunday, and 28 examination centers were formed in 13 cities of the province in this regard.

Strict security measures were ensured on the occasion. The test in Lahore started at 09:00 AM where 19,000 students took the test at eight centers.

More than 10,000 candidates appeared in Multan where the test was conducted at Bahauddin Zakariya University. 3382 students were present in Gujranwala at three different centers, out of which 2349 were girls and 1033 were boys. Similarly, eight thousand students appeared in Rawalpindi.

Sources have revealed that the result of the entry test will be announced in six to nine days, and first merit list will be displayed afterwards.

It is worth mentioning here that the Lahore High Court had ordered to conduct new test on October 29 (today) after declaring the result of the previous test invalid due to leakage of the paper.
