Summary Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has contacted Foreign Office regarding the arrest warrants of former president Pervez Musharraf in Benazir Bhutto murder case, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, to implement court order, contact to Pakistan High Commission in Britain is under consideration to get the information about Musharraf’s residence.The domestic workers of Musharraf at his Chak Shahzad house said that they had no knowledge of Musharraf’s residence in Britain.According to sources, the court can send arrest warrants of an accused who escaped to foreign country as per Act 93 of Criminal Law.Compliance report of the arrest warrants is expected to be presented before the court till March 5.The sources further disclosed that the court may uphold one-sided proceeding in case of non-compliance of its order.
